Strickland Equipment Lawn Mower General Service
We Service and Repair all brands of Walk Behind Mowers, Tractor Style Mowers, Zero Turn Mowers, Grand Stands, Pull Behind Mowers, etc.
A General Service for lawn mowers includes the following service that are applicable to your mower:
- Change oil and filter
- Change or clean air filter
- Sharpen or replace lawn mower blades
- Grease spindles, casters
- Check spark plugs, replace as needed
- Check fuel filter, replace as needed
- Check deck and drive belts, replace as needed
- Check fuel lines/primer bulb, replace as needed
- Tire pressure, add air as needed
- Check battery, replace as needed
During your service, our Certified Mechanics will also inspect the following items:
- Carburetor operation
- Throttle and choke cables
- Engine operation
- Electrical components
- Bearings and seals
- Pulleys in deck and drive system
- Other components as needed
Your mower will also be started and test run to ensure proper functionality. If anything should arise during any of these inspections, you will be contacted by our Shop Manager or one of our Mechanics to inform you of any additional recommended repairs.
We perform any type of service/repair/replacement work on lawn mowers, old and new. Repair costs are calculated by cost of parts + labor rate ($75/hour).
Pick Up & Delivery is available! If you cannot get your mower to us, we can schedule a pick up for you. There is a $40 minimum charge for Pick up and delivery within 10 miles from our location (one way). Pick up and delivery over 10 miles from the shop will be charged by the mile.
There is a $50 diagnostic minimum on all wheeled goods (lawn mowers), including if the unit is determined to not be worth repair (Cost of parts + Estimated Labor is greater than value of the equipment)
Although we service any brand of lawn mower, Strickland Equipment carries Husqvarna and Toro products, and we specialize in the repair of these brands. Any equipment not belonging to these brands brought to Strickland Equipment for repair will require a $50 deposit.
